Dog training is serious business but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun, too! Celebrity dog trainer Joel Silverman has a unique approach to pet training that makes perfect sense: Identify your dog’s personality, develop a trusting relationship with your dog, and then train him according to his unique personality.
Silverman goes so far as to divide dogs into one of five categories or “colors.” Red is “off the wall”…. orange is “high-strung”….. yellow is “mellow yellow”…. green is “apprehensive”…. and blue is “skittish and very afraid.” Once you discover your dog’s “color,” you can train him more effectively by tailoring sessions to his unique personality.
Silverman, author of the new book “What Color is Your Dog,” and host of Animal Planet’s Good Dog U, talks more about his training tactics and shares hilarious stories from his 30+ years as a trainer on Coffee with Tracey, Thursday 10:30 AM EST. http://budurl.com/Dogcolor
In a moving and powerful passage on her website, the coach, author and motivational speaker known best as “MamaRed” describes herself: “I am a mama bear and a gorgeous, multi-colored butterfly emerging from a dull cocoon of darkness.”
After battling her own depression, “MamaRed” spent the past 15 years studying belief systems, transformational tools and techniques from around the world, all with the goal of helping others. Those who have attended her Kick-Butt-and-Take-Names teleseminar series or engaged in her Kick-Butt-and-Take-Names Mentoring Program have begun living passionately powerful lives with “MamaRed” as their guide.
Her newest venture, “MamaRed Speaks” seeks to “igKnight passionately powerful possibilities” for groups and individuals. She is also the founder of A Million Moments of Kindness, a worldwide campaign to raise the world’s “Kindness Quotient” by publishing acts of kindness that take place every day, inspiring others to spread good will in kind.
Blending compassion with comedy, MamaRed’s presentations and speeches are always energetically-charged, inspiring people to action often before they leave the room. You can expect all that and more when MamaRed sits down for Coffee with Tracey, this Thursday at 10:30 AM EST.

Everybody likes to laugh. And humor is also a powerful business and learning tool. Packing every speech with wit and wisdom, noted author and public speaker Aileen Bennett entertains as she educates.
Aileen calls herself a speaker, author, coach and an “obsessed woman.” Her obsession is teaching people how to get what they want through better communication. Her participatory training sessions and keynote speeches use humor and transparent communications, (and a bit of sarcasm!) to present life-changing learning and accelerated memory techniques.
In addition to being a sought-after speaker and coach, Aileen is the author of Notes on Shining: Tips to Improve Your Communication Skills (available through Amazon.com) and a weekly newspaper column, “That’s What She Said.”
Coffee with Tracey host Tracey Tarrant says, “I know Thursday’s show with Aileen will be insightful, educational—and full of laughs, too!” Tune in Thursday at 10:30 to experience it for yourself. http://budurl.com/Aileen
